The player may use their vacuum tool to gather slimes, food, and plorts as they wander throughout the game’s many locations (called a “Vacpack,” a portmanteau of vacuum and backpack). In Slime Rancher 2, farming equipment and farm buildings may be upgraded using Newbucks earned by selling “plort” slime-produced “plorts,” which can then be used to buy improvements for the rancher’s equipment and farm buildings. There is no specific release date for Slime Rancher 2 at this time and hopefully the developers will make another announcement prior to the game’s launch.
RELEASE DATE FOR SLIME RANCHER 2 PC
The game will first make its way to Windows PC and Xbox Series X in an undisclosed date in 2022 and will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on the same day. Xbox press presentation introduced Slime Rancher 2 at the E3 as the successor to the original first-person farming title from developers Monomi Park.
And come June 2019, a new DLC (Downloadable Content) called ‘hidden style pack’ was published as well. The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game were published in August 2018 and August 2019 respectively. Slime Rancher 2 will also launch on Xbox Series X. Monomi Park’s Slime Ranger is a first-person simulation adventure game that’s been in an early access stage since January 2016 and is set to launch sometime in 2022. At the time of writing, it is not clear when Slime Rancher 2 will launch or release, and so all we have is a general release date set for 2022.
